MESSAGE: Long Lost Love. I am looking for a Japanese girl I dated for the first 6 months of 1986 when I was stationed at MCAS Futemna air base on Okinawa Japan. We met at club New York New York and we would frequent club New York New York, Applehouse, and the club around the corner upstairs. We would eat out at all the restaurants hang out at the sea wall. I was redeployed in June to the states and her mother sent her to live with her aunt in Osaka Japan. I lost all contact and forgive me its been so long I think her name was Michiko. Her English was very bad at the time and her friend would always translate for her. They would call me on base to pick me up and then we would go out. Another Marine friend of mine dated her friend and I cannot find him either. There is a young Japanese girl here who looks and acts just like her. Meeting this girl here brought back all my memories of this lost time in 1986. Now I am heartbroken for her.
