He was 8 or 9 and I was 18 or 19 when we met, around 1963. He must be 58 or 59 years old now. My name is Shanta Somasundaram. Jayasekara used to call me Shanta anna. Jayasekara was a houseboy for my mother's sister who lived next door to us on Somasundaram Lane, Chundikuli, Jaffna. Jayasekara then stayed with my uncle George and family in Jaffna until 1969 or 1970. He must have gone back to his family in the south after that. I lost touch with him when I left Sri Lanka in 1966.
