MESSAGE: My father had a child while stationed in Germany. I am just beginning my search and don't have much information. I found a photo of a woman and child but my mom didn't want to talk about it. In later years, I found out that my father had fathered a child in Germany but had nothing to do with that child. My mom and my grandmother, Inez Sullivan knew. I do not talk to my father so I cannot go to him.
My father was in the US Army or US Air Force at the time, stationed in Germany. His name is Samuel James Sullivan. He was probably in Germany in 1958-59. He would have been 19-21 years old. He returned to the US and married my mom in 1960, I was born in 1961.
I would love to find my sibling, a sister I think. Anyone who knew my father while stationed in Germany is encouraged to contact me.
Thank you,
Kim Courtney
